Brian was born and raised in Bergen County, New Jersey. After attending Mannes College of music in Manhattan, where he was a classical piano major, he joined his family's trucking and warehousing firm. Working with his brother John and father Ray, the company enjoyed explosive growth for 12 years before selling to a much larger distribution partner in 1998.

 

After 2 years as Vice President of Sales and Customer Relations, Brian decided to re-locate from busy New York City in 1999 to sleepy Cape Haze, Florida and assist in the opening of his family's second restaurant in the area.

 

After 5 years of running two busy restaurants and building a successful catering business in Boca Grande and Cape Haze, Brian obtained his Florida Sales Associate Real Estate License in 2004. After working for 4 years on Boca Grande and the surrounding areas, Brian obtained his Florida Real Estate Broker license and opened The BRC Group, LLC Boca Grande, FL on November 1st, 2008.

 

With an ability to change course with the markets, Brian has proven to be able to not only survive in these challenging economic times, but to thrive. Brian's focus on internet advertising and personal service is what sets him apart from the competition.

 

On April 23rd, 2010 Brian was elected to a two year term to the Board of Directors of My Florida Regional Multiple Listing Service and was inducted at the Grande Bomemian Hotel in downtown Orlando during the Annual Board of Directors and Shareholder's Meeting. Brian lives in Englewood with his wife Sigrid and two sons, Matthew (11) and Andrew (8).

 

John was born and raised in New Jersey and vacationed in Boca Grande at an early age visiting relatives. He always knew that one day he would work and live in this little piece of “Paradise”. John worked very hard to get here. He graduated in 1981 from Don Bosco Prep. High School in Ramsey, New Jersey and went on to receive his BBA Degree from Pace University in New York. John grew up working in his family trucking and warehousing business with his brother Brian and father Ray in the North East until they sold it in 1998. This is when the Corcoran family decided to make their dreams come true and move to Florida. He moved to the Cape Haze Peninsula in 1999 looking for a better quality of life and has never looked back with any regrets.
 
John enjoys the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico and boating in the tropical blue waters. Another passion of his is horseback riding. He owns a quarter horse named “Thor“ and loves to trail ride within minutes from Boca Grande.

In September of 2002 John became a Realtor and has focused his efforts in the Cape Haze Peninsula and the barrier islands, Boca Grande and Equestrian properties in the area. In 2004 he was the Top Producer with a real estate firm in Cape Haze, Florida and over the years has continued to be a Top Producer. He recently received his Broker Associate license in 2008. While working together with his brother Brian Corcoran in real estate they have developed a great reputation with their buyer’s and seller’s over the years and finally decided to go out on their own. Dawn enjoyed her childhood years in Wyckoff, Bergen County, New Jersey.  She then attended the University of Rhode Island where she graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Business.   After graduation she worked for six years at Regency Holdings in Morristown, N.J. where she handled all aspects of property management for a private firm. In 1991 she married and moved to Hunterdon County New Jersey where she lived for 14 years.

 

In 1994 Dawn delivered twins and in 1997 had her third child.  This kept her busy until 2001 when she obtained her CMCA Community Management license and was responsible for managing a portfolio of Associations for Access Property Management in Flemington, N.J. 

 

In 2005 Dawn and her husband Peter decided to move to Englewood FL, being lured during a vacation by the beautiful weather and water.  Dawn decided to pursue a different path in real estate and became a realtor instead of a manager.  Her family has invested in real estate for years and this seemed like a natural progression.  She worked on Boca Grande and then Englewood returning to Boca Grande in 2008.

Dawn resides in Englewood with her husband Peter, and their three children, Sean(15), Alyssa(15), and Brianne(12).
